Oxygen Concentrator

An oxygen concentrator is a medical device that provides supplemental oxygen to people with respiratory conditions, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, or other disorders that impair breathing. Unlike oxygen tanks, which store compressed oxygen, an oxygen concentrator extracts oxygen from the surrounding air and delivers it at a higher concentration.

• Air Filtration:

  The concentrator takes in ambient air, filters out nitrogen, and compresses the oxygen to increase its purity.

• Oxygen Delivery:

  It then delivers the concentrated oxygen through a nasal cannula or mask.

• Continuous or Pulsed Flow:

  Some models provide a continuous stream of oxygen, while others deliver oxygen in pulses when the user inhales.
